RHAPSODIST
Isabel Montoro has traced her path between communication and poetry. Graduated in Journalism, she has made «La Vereda», a Radio Klara program for more than fifteen years, in given her voice to poetry and culture. She has also collaborated on other radio stations and has carried out monographic programs on many poets.
During her professional career, she has combined her work as a journalist and teacher with her participation in poetic recitals. Among the stages where he has declared are the Teatre Micalet, the Ateneo Mercantil and the Aula Magna of the Universitat de València. She has also performed in concerts, bookstores and cultural associations, as well as in Russafart (artistic event in the Ruzafa neighborhood) and in various editions of La Senda del poeta (a trekking activity in tribute to Miguel Hernández).
Beyond her work as a rhapsodist she has written newspaper articles, has been a member of the jury in literary and photographic certificates and has participated as a speaker in many cultural events. For more than ten years she has been teaching as a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature in Secondary Education, while developing her profession as a poetic activist in literary activities.
